Cylon Mega Man

Cylon Mega Man:

Initial meaning: the conceptualization of the Capcom Corporation Mega Man (or more specifically, Mega Man X) video games as resemblent of the theme and storyline surrounding the synthetically created yet intelligent Cylon mechanized 'species', as seen in the re-imagined speculative fiction television series Battlestar Galactica.

Wider meaning: the conceptualization of the seemingly innocuous, in subject matter of numerous media...including, but by no means limited to, the media of video games...in a much deeper, deconstructivist sense: that is, looking at what the "fun and games" really would be like, if looked at in a realistic setting.  What would a Mega Man X world be like, if 'Reploids' (...Cylons...) were truly rendered within it?  What would happen if contact with Earth was truly cut off for early human colonists to Mars, as once "made up for fun" in a scenario given in the computer game Civilization II: Fantastic Worlds?

True meaning, in this blog: What if?  Take crazy stuff, and take off with it.  What wonders exist for those who are willing to think out of the box?; and not just once or twice, but on a constant basis, to the point that the box becomes as strange to such people as the environment of a prison would be for a free man?
